Program Overview

The Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at the University of Southern Queensland is a professionally focused 4-year undergraduate degree designed to develop your knowledge of human behaviour, psychological theory, research methods and ethical practice. The course emphasises professional skill development, critical understanding of psychological principles, and participation in research projects that build your portfolio and readiness for further study or practice. Graduates of this degree are eligible to apply for provisional registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and can pursue advanced postgraduate study (e.g., Master or Doctorate) towards full clinical registration.
